These terms and conditions apply to all we54 Young African Leaders and any partners working on a collaborative capacity with we54. These are represented in all binding forms that must be agreed upon to participate in any we54 projects and campaigns.
 

1. Eligibility of use 

1.1 In order to use this service, you must first agree to the terms and conditions listed herein, otherwise, you are not permitted to continue use. 

1.2 You may not use this service or agree to the terms if (a) you are not of legal age 18 years, or (b) you have been prohibited from using this service due to unacceptable behaviour or violation of law or our policies
 

2. Conduct
You agree not to use this service to:

2.1 Violate any laws or policies

2.2 Attempt to obtain any unauthorized access to the services

2.3 Create or share any content that is false, harmful, threatening, abusive, hateful or otherwise unacceptable

2.4 Create or share any content that is not legally your own and infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or any proprietary rights of another person/entity 

2.5 Falsely impersonate any person/entity or forge any information regarding this service

2.6 Interfere or disrupt this service using viruses, corrupted files or any other shared content that aims to destroy or limit the functionality of this service
 

3. Termination of use

3.1 we54 reserves the right to terminate a user’s access for violating the terms, without prior notice and at its sole discretion 
 

4. Intellectual Property 

4.1 All we54 property including but not limited to the we54 name, logos, trademarks, domain names remain the sole property of we54 (excluding content provided by users) 

4.2 The use of we54 intellectual property or false claim of ownership will result in legal action

4.3 Any content you provide to we54 pertaining its projects, campaigns or other activities is entirely voluntary and we retain the right to use it as we see fit

At we54 we are proponents for the transparent and lawful use of personal data and information across Africa. We are encouraged by the 24 African nations that have so far adopted data protection laws and remain inspired that more will join in. 
 

What information do we collect?

We do not collect any information from you when you visit our page or use cookies. However, if you participate in any of our projects or campaigns, you voluntarily choose to provide us with your personal information. When you submit your information to us, you are agreeing to give us your consent to collecting this information as indicated in this privacy policy. If you provide information on behalf of someone else, you must acquire their consent before sharing it with us.

When you apply for any activity or opportunity with we54, we use your information to review your eligibility and provide a well-informed outcome, as well as further information to assist you in engaging appropriately in the aforementioned tasks. This is necessary for us to be able to perform our duties to you. If you wish to terminate your engagement with us, you can request for the removal of your information from our database. 
 

Sharing of information

we54 will not share, sell or distribute your information for any purposes unless required by law to comply with a current legal proceeding in which case we will request your permission to do so.

we54 reserves the right to amend this privacy policy, therefore keep updated by checking regularly for changes. Your continued use of this website will constitute your agreement that the new policy changes will take effect as soon as they are posted.
